Smoky Mountain Waterfalls Minimize

Sometimes the destination is just as important as the journey!

Here are some destinations in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee that are well worth the trip.  Lets keep in mind that not all trips to a waterfall is created equally. Most of the waterfalls in NC & TN require a considerable amount of effort to view. With that in mind SMC is only going to showcase waterfalls that are less than a 1 mile walk from the parking area. This will decrease the amount of waterfalls showcased however, this should also make the trip doable even when dressed in riding attire.

Here is the list for easy access waterfalls found in Westeren North Carolina

BIKER HUMOR

Arthur Davidson in Heaven
Arthur Davidson, of Harley Davidson Motorcycle Corporation, died and went to heaven. At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur, "Since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles had so much influence in the world, your reward is this; you can hang out with God." St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God. Arthur then asked God, "Hey, you’re the inventor of woman right?" God said, "Ah, yes."   "Well," said Arthur, "professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention:
1.       There's too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusion.
2.       It chatters constantly at high speeds.
3.       Most of the rear ends are too soft and wobble too much.
4.       The intake is placed right next to the exhaust.
5.       The maintenance costs are outrageous.
"Hmmm, you may have some good points there," replied God. "Hold on." God went to his Celestial Super Computer, typed in a few words and waited for the results. The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it. "Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed, ” God said to Arthur, "but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours...."!

His and Her Diary Entries

Her Diary:

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong. He said, 'Nothing' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else.. He fell asleep -I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

His Diary:

My bike wouldn't start today, but at least I got laid.

Area Trivia

Tennessee was at first part of North Carolina, and then was known briefly as the State of Franklin. It later became part of the "U.S. Territory South of the River Ohio," and finally was admitted to the Union as the State of Tennessee--the 16th state--on June 1, 1796, and ranks 17th in population compared to other states.

There are two official flowers for the state of Tennessee, the Iris and the Passion Flower. While there are several different colors among the iris, and the act naming the iris as the state flower did not name a particular color, by common acceptance the purple iris is considered the state flower.
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is the most visited park in our country. Over 9 million mountain adventurers come from all over the USA and the world to experience the beauty of the Smokys.
