 *Depends on the season, at times the trafic can get really bad. Be aware that you will get stick behind slow moving vehicles and it can be frustrating.

 

The Staffs Opinion

Take a drive on this long scenic route and experience the beauty of nature. One of the must ride rides for any true motorcyclist. The Blue Ridge Parkway has everything you are looking for including mountain views, valleys and tunnels. There are areas to pull off the parkway and drop down into near by towns for services and reststops. Some of teh lookouts or pulloffs have reststops however they are far and few between. This is a great road to ride and the views are wonderful however there are times when the road is very ordinary and slow but the views are worth it.
