Roads to ride in North Carolina Minimize

Smokey Mountains, North Carolina Roads...

If you are looking for a great place to ride this is the place. We have a comprehensive list of roads throughout Western North Carolina with plenty of scenic twisty routes that will at times test your skills and take your breath away.

Road List

 Buffalo Shoals Road - Lake Lure NC

 Beginner

This road follows the southern edge of Lake Lure 

 HWY 28 - North Carolina and South Carolina
 Intermediate

This road will take you from Lauada NC to Walhalla SC or visa versa depending on which end you start at. 

 Intermediate

This road will take you from Bingham Hights (Asheville) NC to Trust, NC also knkow as New Leicester Hwy. 

 Intermediate

This ride has an experience level of Intermediate however, at times it does lean toward Expert. 

 HWY 212 – North Carolina and Tennessee
 Beginner
This road will take you from Hot Spring to Ernestville TN. Ernestville is very close to the entrance of I-26 which is a major corridor to just about anyplace you what to go.

 Intermediate

Love Joy Road can be found at the intersection of Highways 215 and 76, in Canton, North Carolina. 

 NC 1310 – Wayah Road - North Carolina
 Intermediate
When traveling this road it is a good idea to take the time and run it both ways. The sights that are behind you are just as good as thoughts in front!
